The house
A hundred and sixty years of history, and still sugar in the air

A house born of sugar
Built in the mid-19th century in the centre of the village of Chavenay, the house owes its name to its past: sugar was worked here. From that era it keeps its generous volumes, thick walls and the charm of houses that have lived.
Fully transformed into a guest house, it has welcomed families and groups of friends for sixteen years — on the simple idea that a big house is made to be filled with people and the sound of a busy table.
